About the Chef:
Micki Sannar is a world renowned chef with a passion for nutrition and health. She has taught cooking classes overseas and been published in numerous publications. Over six years ago she was stunned to learn that she suffered from high cholesterol despite what she considered a healthy diet and active lifestyle. This realization led her to begin research on olive oil and its powerful heart healthy benefits. She was unable to find recipes that took advantage of olive oil's benefits while satisfying her sweet tooth. She began experimenting and creating her own satisfying desserts. Over six years later "Olive Oil Desserts" is her amazing compilation. By making small changes in her diet Micki has been successful at lowering her cholesterol 100 points. "Olive Oil Desserts" recently won a silver award from the Living Now Book Awards. Recipes from this book have also been requested from the Texas Department of Agriculture to be distributed state wide to promote local olive oil.

Micki is committed to charity and community service. 10% of the proceeds of this book will always be donated to charity. She is passionate about helping individuals realize their dreams of owning their own business and finding their natural talents.
